Description

TASTING NOTES:
This subtle sake has a bright citrus, lemon lime character, hints of marshmallow and a slight herbal quality.
Polished to 68%, well beyond its categorical requirement, and using Gohyakumangoku rice for the koji, this sake is
medium bodied with classic melon notes and finishing quite dry.

ABOUT TSUJIZENBEI BREWERY:
Tsujizenbei Honten is the oldest brewery in our portfolio (1754). Their current Owner and Toji (brewer,) Hiroyuki
Tsuji is a 16 th generation family member. The water source is of great importance because it defines their style of
round, full flavored, balanced sake with more umami, and a dry finish. This sake is aged for an additional 6 months
to reach a style that is appealing to a younger demographic in Japan to help perpetuate the industry.
